About Rákosárna
The cottage was built as a traveling inn in 1881.
At the end of 2016, we discovered Rákosárna. A cottage between Vrchlabí and Špindlerův mlýn.
The cottage was built in 1881 and served as a traveling inn for passing wagons and merchants. From the 1980s, it was the company cottage of a reed processing plant. Her name also comes from this time. The last user was Mrs. Mašková, who rented the cottage for short-term stays, mainly for schools.
The approval of the new Rákosárny took place in 2022, and we would be happy if you came to see how the reconstruction turned out.
We love mountains!
As boys, we went to Spindle whenever we had the chance. Get on the bus to Čerňák early in the morning and back to Prague in the afternoon after a whole day spent on the slopes. This was our life and even back then we dreamed of having something of our own right here.
As we got older, we had the opportunity to spend more time in the mountains and get to know them even in the summer. It was a completely new impulse for us. Over the years (it's been well over twenty years), Špindlerův Mlýn has changed and grown into the largest Czech ski resort with all facilities.
